Join Star on Sunday, November 12th, 2017at 1pm - 3pm for this popular mandala art workshop! Star will supply a limited amount of materials, but if you have your own, please bring them! We meet in a large studio space. Most work is on the floor. Blankets and bolsters are provided for comfort. Please bring any other items that may be comfortable for you. Children over 10 are welcome with a parent.

Join Toni Farris at Yoga Tree in downtown Plano for YOGA 101/201 and discover the joyful practice of yoga in an eight-week, eight-class series YOGA 101 is an experiential and curricular look at the practice of yoga. It is the perfect entry point for those who have heard about the benefits of yoga and want to learn more; and it will also serve to enrich the understanding of those with an extablished practice. Topics and exercise will include basic alignment and action in yoga postures, essential breathing techniques in yoga and meditation. Children's Registered Yoga (CRYT) Teacher Training
How do kids practice Yoga? They play! Yoga Tree Kids’ classes help develop strength, flexibility, coordination and relaxation while using a combination of fun yoga postures, group games, story telling, music and breathing exercises. We also strive to teach self-awareness and build respect for ourselves and others in a secular and fun environment. Each class designed to enhance health in a child’s mind and body!
The Yoga Tree Kids CRYT training is the perfect way to prepare to share yoga with children. Our Yoga Alliance registered yoga school is certification will earn you the CRYT designation, a internationally recognized hallmark in yoga education. The program will teach developmental stages of childhood, contraindications, Yoga Tree kids class plans and yoga games. We have everything you need to keep children safe and entertained while sharing the wide benefits of yoga.
